Job summary

SteerLean Consulting is seeking an experienced Siebel Developer with hands-on Siebel CRM expertise to design, develop, and support enterprise CRM solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver scalable Siebel implementations.

You will perform end-to-end Siebel configuration, develop workflows, server scripts, and UI enhancements, troubleshoot production issues, and support upgrades.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on Siebel CRM development experience.
• Proficiency in Siebel Configuration using Siebel Tools (applets, views, business components, business objects, screens, and links).
• Experience with Siebel Integration Objects, VBCs, and EBCs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance Siebel CRM solutions to meet business requirements.
• Perform end-to-end Siebel configuration including applets, views, screens, and links.
• Develop and optimize Siebel Workflows, Business Services, and Server Scripts (eScript and Browser Script).
• Manage Siebel Tools, Open UI customizations, and UI enhancements.
• Troubleshoot production issues and performance bottlenecks; resolve data defects.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Siebel Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Siebel CRM to design, develop, and support enterprise-level CRM solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to deliver high-quality, scalable Siebel implementations.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of hands-on development experience with Siebel CRM, preferably within the Consumer Goods domain
• Strong experience in Siebel Configuration using Siebel Tools (applets, views, business components, business objects, screens, and links)
• Proficiency in Siebel Integration Objects, Virtual Business Components (VBCs), and External Business Components (EBCs)
• In-depth knowledge of SRF, LOVs, Siebel Security and Access Control, and State Models
• Solid understanding of SQL
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex business requirements and troubleshoot issues effectively

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance Siebel CRM solutions in alignment with business requirements
• Perform end-to-end Siebel configuration, including applets, views, screens, business components, business objects, and links
• Develop and optimize Siebel Workflows, Business Services, and Server Scripts (eScript and Browser Script)
• Manage Siebel Tools, Open UI customizations, and user interface enhancements
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and data-related defects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, propose technical solutions, and deliver design documents
• Conduct unit testing, provide SIT/UAT support, and assist with deployment activities
• Support Siebel upgrades, patching, repository merges, and environment migrations
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, documentation requirements, compliance guidelines, and CRM best practices
• Follow ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management
