Job summary

Insight Enterprises is seeking an experienced Siebel Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise CRM solutions for our consumer goods-focused deployments. The role involves hands-on work with Siebel CRM, including applets, views, and business components, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality configurations.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of Siebel experience, strong SQL skills, and a track record in Agile/Scrum environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on Siebel CRM development experience.
• Siebel Tools configuration including applets, views, BCs, BOs, screens, and links.
• Proficiency in Siebel Integration Objects, VBCs, and EBCs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support enterprise Siebel CRM solutions.
• Perform end‑to‑end Siebel configuration and customisation.
• Collaborate with business and tech teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Conduct unit testing, SIT/UAT support, and assist with deployments.
• Support Siebel upgrades, patches, and environment migrations.
• Adhere to coding standards, documentation, and ITIL processes.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Siebel Developer with strong hands‑on expertise in Siebel CRM (Consumer Goods Application) to design, develop, and support enterprise‑level CRM solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to deliver high‑quality, scalable Siebel implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance Siebel CRM solutions in alignment with business requirements
• Perform end‑to‑end Siebel configuration, including applets, views, screens, business components, business objects, and links
• Develop and optimise Siebel Workflows, Business Services, and Server Scripts (eScript and Browser Script)
• Manage Siebel Tools, Open UI customisations, and user interface enhancements
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and data‑related defects
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, propose technical solutions, and deliver design documents
• Conduct unit testing, provide SIT/UAT support, and assist with deployment activities
• Support Siebel upgrades, patching, repository mergers, and environment migrations
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, documentation requirements, compliance guidelines, and CRM best practices
• Follow ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management

What we’re looking for

• 8+ years of hands‑on development experience with Siebel CRM, preferably within the Consumer Goods domain
• Strong experience in Siebel Configuration using Siebel Tools (applets, views, business components, business objects, screens, and links)
• Proficiency in Siebel Integration Objects, Virtual Business Components (VBCs), and External Business Components (EBCs)
• In‑depth knowledge of SRF, LOVs, Siebel Security and Access Control, and State Models
• Solid understanding of SQL, Oracle Database, and performance tuning
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex business requirements and troubleshooting issues effectively
