Job description

You will build custom Shopify apps, improve store functionality, automate workflows, and integrate external systems using Node.js, Shopify APIs, and Liquid .

This role is perfect for someone who can work across the front-end Shopify theme layer and backend custom app & API layer .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom Shopify apps (private/public/custom)
• Build & manage Node.js services for automation & data sync
• Integrate third-party platforms — payment, CRM, logistics, checkout systems, marketing tools
• Work with Shopify REST & GraphQL APIs
• Create and manage webhooks, middleware, and API endpoints
• Work with Admin API, Storefront API, and App Proxy
• Troubleshoot app issues & optimize performance
• Create & manage Shopify metafields, JSON templates
• Participate in code reviews & follow Git workflows
• Collaborate with UI, marketing, and ops teams to build scalable ecommerce features

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Shopify development
• Strong expertise in Shopify Liquid, theme architecture, and metafields
• Mandatory experience in Shopify App Development
• Hands-on experience with Shopify APIs, Webhooks, and OAuth
• Good knowledge of Admin API, Storefront API, and GraphQL
• Skilled in third‑party API integrations and creating custom endpoints
• Experience with Git version control
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a problem‑solving mindset
