Job summary

Snapmint is seeking a Shopify Developer to build, optimize, and maintain high-performing Shopify stores with a focus on UX and performance. You will collaborate with UI/UX teams to implement modern designs, integrate APIs and third-party apps, and ensure optimal website performance through testing, debugging, and support.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of hands-on Shopify development and eCommerce customization.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, software engineering, or related field.
• Strong experience with Shopify Liquid, Admin, APIs and app integrations.
• Experience in debugging, performance optimization, and scalable solutions.
• Exposure to other eCommerce platforms such as WooCommerce, Magento, or BigCommerce is a plus.

About the Role

As a Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining high-performing Shopify stores that deliver seamless user experiences. You will collaborate closely with UI/UX teams to implement modern, user-centric designs, integrate APIs and third-party applications, and ensure optimal website performance through regular testing, debugging, and technical support.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain Shopify stores with a focus on performance, scalability, and user experience.
• Integrate platform APIs, third-party marketing tools, payment gateways, and Shopify apps to enhance store functionality and operational efficiency.
• Optimize store performance through regular testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of website issues.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to create intuitive, responsive, and modern customer experiences across web and mobile platforms.
• Implement custom Shopify themes, features, and frontend enhancements using Shopify best practices.
• Provide technical support, maintenance, and quality assurance to ensure smooth day-to-day store operations.
• Monitor website health, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement continuous improvements for speed, usability, and conversion optimization.
• Work with internal stakeholders to support new feature launches, promotional campaigns, and store updates.
• Maintain proper documentation, code quality standards, and version control practices for ongoing development activities.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Shopify development and eCommerce website customization.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Shopify development, including theme customization, Shopify Admin, Storefront APIs, Liquid, and third-party app integrations.
• Experience in debugging, performance optimization, and maintaining high-quality, scalable eCommerce solutions.
• Good understanding of Shopify plugins, APIs, metafields, and exposure to other eCommerce platforms such as WooCommerce, Magento, or BigCommerce will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
