Job summary

Freudenberg Group in India is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to lead shift technicians and drive reliability on production equipment. You will diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic systems, reading complex schematics and coordinating safety with TPM and 5S practices.

The role requires a Diploma/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with 4–6 years of experience, hands-on PLC troubleshooting across major brands, and strong leadership skills to guide 3–5 technicians in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Diploma or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with 4–6 years of professional experience.
• Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC hardware faults (Siemens, Mitsubishi, VIPA, B&R).
• Hands-on breakdown repair of hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic faults.
• Knowledge of TPM and 5S frameworks.
• Knowledge of motors, heaters and servo troubleshooting.

• Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF): Extend equipment uptime through high-quality preventive maintenance.
• PM Compliance: Ensure 100% execution of scheduled preventive checklists during the shift.
• Breakdown percentage. Maintain breakdown less than 0.16 %.
• Spare Management. Keep critical as well general spares up to date.

Qualifications:

Knowledge Mechanical maintenance.

Behavioral & Soft Skills:
