Job summary

Freudenberg Filtration seeks an Electrical Engineer to oversee power installations, energy management and safety across the Morinda plant. The role includes expanding electrical networks, improving power quality and monitoring utility consumption, with emphasis on TPM initiatives.

Candidate should have BE/BTech in electrical with 4–10 years of relevant experience and be fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi. This is a full-time on-site position at the Morinda facility.

Responsibilities

• Power and electrical installations including transformers, switchyards, panels, UPS, inverters and shop floor lighting.
• New projects and expansion of electrical network with capacity augmentation.
• Ensure electrical safety across the plant and address safety committee requirements.
• Lead utility activities for TPM and monitor DG sets.
• Monitor energy consumption, water balance and power factor; manage PSEB billing.
• Maintain diesel consumption records and energy efficiency initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Power and Electrical Installations , Transformers , Switch yards, Panels, , UPS , Inverters , Shop Floor Lightings , Office Electrical and Lightings.
• New projects, Expansion of electrical network, additional capacity augmentation. Energy management - Measurement, Audit, Follow up actions and Conservation.
• Power Quality Improvements. Ensure Electrical Safety across the plant -- Responding to safety committee requirements, elimination of causes resulting to unsafe conditions.
• Maintenance and up keeping DG set Lead utility circle for implementation of TPM. Monitor and minimize compressed air leakage in the plant.
• Energy monitoring Records for Mohali manufacturing facility. Record and monitor power factor and PSEB bill. Maintain and monitor water consumption records Maintain Water Balance.
• Maintain and monitor Diesel consumption records
