• Communicate with Shift Charge Engineers across shifts.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
• Complete shift checklists and testing schedules (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Maintain equipment changeover documentation.
• Identify equipment issues and coordinate with Plant Maintenance.
• Support budget planning and expenditure control for shift operations.
• Contribute to operational efficiency improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

• Operate and monitor plant processes via Distributive Control System (DCS) and control devices
• Ensure optimal electrical distribution and mechanical systems performance
• Manage shift staffing to maintain safe facility operations

Team Leadership

• Direct and coordinate Plant Operators during assigned shifts
• Communicate effectively with Shift Charge Engineers across all shifts
• Ensure team compliance with safety protocols and operational procedures

Quality & Compliance

• Complete and verify shift round checklists and routine testing schedules (daily/weekly/monthly)
• Maintain equipment changeover documentation
• Identify equipment issues and coordinate with Plant Maintenance Team

Planning & Control

• Support budget planning and expenditure control for shift operations
• Contribute to operational efficiency improvements

Educational Requirements

Essential: B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or Mechanical Engineering

OR Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with relevant experience
