Job summary

Netravati Patil ICT India is seeking an experienced SharePoint & K2 Infrastructure Analyst to design and manage the SharePoint environment, including architecture, installation, scripting, and documentation. The role involves working with Microsoft technologies, K2/workflow platforms, and cloud services like Azure and Office 365.

You will review performance, participate in audits, and provide expert recommendations to ensure scalability, disaster readiness, and optimal resource utilization.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Architectural design diagrams for the infrastructure
• Installation, configuration, scripting, documentation, and knowledge transfer to the operations team
• Provide framework and infrastructural support for development of custom SharePoint solutions
• Review environment performance and participate in audits and health checks
• Recommend hardware resource utilization and ensure scalability
• Review data backup policies and disaster readiness
• Evaluate and perform POC on apps to meet business requirements
• Provide Level 3 support to the service provider when needed
• Lead SharePoint governance investigations and work with providers
• Liaise with ICT CTO technical teams to resolve issues
• Deploy/develop SharePoint solutions using PowerShell, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, XSL, XML, C#, .NET, SQL
• Ensure stability and integrity of the K2 Platform
• Review changes impacting the platform and make recommendations
• Coordinate with multiple teams across regions

Job description

Primary Responsibilities:

• ICT India SharePoint & K2 Infrastructure Analyst for Microsoft SharePoint and related technologies, such as Project Server, SharePoint Search, MIM, Office Online Server, MSSQL and 3rd party products such as K2.
• He will be responsible for:
• Architectural design diagrams for the infrastructure.
• Installation, configuration, scripting, documentation, and Knowledge Transfer to the Operations Team.
• Provide framework and infrastructural support for the development of custom solutions, to be built on the SharePoint platform, leveraging SharePoint technologies.
• Will review performance of the environment and engage / particulate in audits and environmental health checks. Will make expert recommendations to remediate any gaps identified in audit or during performance evaluation.
• Will recommend effective utilization of hardware resources and will ensure that the environment remains scalable and can accommodate future needs.
• Will review data backup policies and ensure environment is disaster ready
• Will evaluate and perform POC on applications / products to ensure the required feature set is available as per business requirements.
• Provides Level 3 support to the Service Provider when they cannot resolve an issue.
• Performs special SharePoint feature and function investigations to support the SharePoint Governance Team.
• Works directly with Technical Resources from the Software Providers (Microsoft, Metalogix, K2, etc.) to resolve product issues.
• Lead will ensure stability and integrity of the K2 Platform.
• Evaluate and review all the changes impacting the platform and make recommendations best suited for the platform
• Works directly with ICT CTO Technical Teams, such as Network, Active Directory, Security, and Capacity to design and resolve technical issues.
• Making informed recommendations related to MS SharePoint 2016/ 2019 farm application architecture, infrastructure, software implementation, app model Add-in, design, testing and deployment
• Deploying / Developing SharePoint solutions leveraging PowerShell 3.0+, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, XSL and XML, C#, .NET, MS SQL 2014/2016 stored procedures in the creation of custom solutions, including workflows and app model Add-ins.
• Bachelor's degree
• 3 to 8 years relevant IT experience with SharePoint 2016, SharePoint with K2 5.x / Other workflows. Total IT experience of 5 years or more.
• Advanced knowledge and in-depth understanding of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2016 and 2019
• Understanding of SharePoint Search, Identity management, Project server
• Hands on experience on building K2 farms (K2 versions 5.x)
• Working knowledge of Office 365, SharePoint Online and Azure including Azure PaaS DBs.
• Knowledge of Microsoft .NET 4.5+ and core technology stack
• Must have direct experience implementing and supporting Microsoft SharePoint based solutions.

Desirable:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technology field
• Experience with MS SQL Server 2014/2016/2019.
• Working knowledge of XSL, XML, HTML5, CSS3 and AJAX.
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint MinRole and using Office Online Server is a plus.
• Understanding of core SharePoint service applications, such as Connectivity services, Secure Store, UPA, SSRS, MIM and Managed Metadata services.
• Basic understanding of Active directory / Identity management systems, firewalls and networking concepts
• Microsoft certification for SharePoint / O365 / Azure is desirable
• Understanding and knowledge of Visual Studio based solutions is desirable
• Working knowledge of K2 package and deployment and K2 identity synchronization.
• Knowledge of agile methodology is required for this role.
• Strong management and leadership skills with a proactive participative management style
• Experience working with multiple teams and on projects simultaneously, with geographically dispersed resources.
