Job summary

Evershine Build India seeks an experienced Shade Matcher to join the QC team. The role focuses on matching and developing shades for tile grouts, epoxy, and coatings with high color accuracy and consistency.

You will coordinate with Production, QC and R&D to drive shade approvals and process improvements. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with shade matching tools and spectrophotometers, plus strong knowledge of pigments, toners and coating formulations.

Qualifications

• B.Sc in Chemistry or Diploma in Paint Technology or any graduate.
• Experience in shade matching within paints, coatings or allied chemicals is mandatory.
• Experience in construction chemicals, decorative paints and industrial coatings is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Match solid color shades per customer samples, standards and product specs.
• Perform shade matching and color correction using pigments and toners.
• Conduct laboratory trials, color evaluations and quality checks with spectrophotometers.
• Ensure batch-to-batch color consistency during production and address variations.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality Control and R&D for shade approvals and improvements.
• Maintain shade libraries, formulation records and technical documentation.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Shade Matcher to join our QC team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for matching and developing shades for tile grouts, epoxy, 2k & 3k components ensuring color accuracy, consistency, and quality standards. The role requires expertise in color matching techniques, pigment adjustments, and coordination with production and quality teams to achieve customer-approved shades.

Key Responsibilities

1. Match solid color shades as per customer samples, standards, and product specifications according to shade cards.

2. Perform shade matching, color correction, and formulation adjustments using pigments, toners, to achieve the desired color.

3. Conduct laboratory trials, color evaluations, and quality checks using visual assessment techniques and color spectrophotometers.

4. Ensure batch-to-batch color consistency during production and take corrective actions to address shade variations.

5. Coordinate closely with Production, Quality Control, and R&D teams for shade approvals, troubleshooting, and process improvements.

6. Maintain shade libraries, formulation records, and technical documentation for reference and traceability.

7. Investigate shade-related issues, analyze root causes, and provide quick and effective solutions to meet production and customer requirements.
