Job summary

Aditya Birla Group is seeking a Safety professional (BE/B.Tech with PG Diploma in Industrial Safety) to maintain a zero-incident safety culture in the cement unit. You will lead safety observations, report near misses, and drive Kaizen activities while coordinating audits and safety committees under tight statutory compliance timelines.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech from a recognized institution.
• Essential: Post Graduation Diploma in Industrial Safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe working environment in the Unit with adherence to Safety Budgets and Emergency Preparedness.
• Report Near Miss, OPL and Kaizen regularly.
• Organize safety promotion activities to raise awareness among employees and contract workmen.
• Coordinate and participate in internal and external audits to ensure 100% compliance of audit findings.
• Monitor safety standards through subcommittees and line managers to implement safety culture.

Job Purpose: To maintain safe working environment in the Unit with strict adherence of Safety Budgets, Emergency Preparedness plan, compliances of all statutory requirements, Implementation IMS for ensuring zero incidents.

KRA 1: Self-Demonstrated Commitment for the Safety Sustainability:

• Conduct Safety observation Round & CFSA at workplace.
• Reporting Near Miss, OPL & Kaizen on regular basis.

Hazards (OFI's) Reporting & ensuring compliances for the same.

KRA 2: All relevant statutory compliances on Time:

All relevant statutory compliances on Time

KRA 3: Safety Promotion Activities organized for workforce:

Organize motivational programs related to safety in order to awareness among employees and contract workmen.

• NSD Activities.
• Organise Campaign on Theme for Every Month.

KRA 4: Implementation of SMS & IMS System:

Coordination and participation in internal and external audit and ensuring 100% compliances of audit findings.

KRA 5: Coordination and monitoring with standard champions & Subcommittee chairmen along with the line mangers to Implement safety standards and safety culture in unit:

Coordination and participation in all sub committees meeting, Regular monitoring & review Key performance of each safety standards and subcommittee meeting outcomes compliances.
