Job summary

Nordex Group in Chennai is seeking a ServiceNow Platform Administrator to manage, configure, and continuously improve the ServiceNow environment. You will ensure platform stability, security, and performance while supporting users and stakeholders across the organization.

You will handle ITSM modules, perform upgrades, manage access, and develop dashboards and reports to drive metrics. A CSA certification is preferred, with strong ITIL knowledge and experience guiding integrations and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of ServiceNow administration experience.
• CSA certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow admin, security, compliance, and access management.
• Hands-on experience with ITSM and ITOM modules.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
• Experience with ServiceNow reporting, dashboards, and analytics.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, Glide scripting, Flow Designer, Update Sets, and Scheduled Jobs.
• Experience supporting integrations with enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

Role Purpose: The ServiceNow Platform Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Nordex ServiceNow platform. The role ensures platform stability, performance, security, and alignment with business requirements while supporting users and stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request Management, and CMDB.
• Perform system upgrades, patching, maintenance, and platform monitoring activities.
• Manage user accounts, roles, groups, and access permissions.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and optimize system performance.
• Collaborate with developers, process owners, and business stakeholders to implement enhancements and technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and integrity within the ServiceNow environment.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Support integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise applications.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles.
• Provide end-user support, training, and guidance on ServiceNow best practices.
