Job summary

TaskUs India Private Limited is seeking a dedicated ServiceNow Developer to advance our ITSM maturity. You will design, develop, and continuously enhance the ServiceNow platform, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions and robust integrations.

Requirements include 7–8 years IT experience with 4+ years in ServiceNow development, strong JavaScript skills, and knowledge of Java, HTML, CSS.

Qualifications

• 7–8 years of overall IT experience with at least 4+ years in ServiceNow development.
• Proven ability to build and configure Workflows, Business Rules, UI Policies, and Client Scripts.
• Strong ITSM knowledge and industry best practices.
• Strong coding in JavaScript; knowledge of Java/HTML/CSS.
• Service Portal development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy ServiceNow functionalities with minimal supervision.
• Analyze business processes to propose optimal technical solutions.
• Define project scopes and objectives with stakeholders.
• Create, update, and maintain technical documentation.
• Provide ongoing platform maintenance and custom reports.
• Escalate risks to management when necessary.

Job Description

Seeking a dedicated ServiceNow Developer to advance our IT Service Management (ITSM) maturity. You will drive the technical design, development, and continuous improvement of our ServiceNow platform, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose, fit-for-use, and aligned with business goals.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design & Implement: Lead the technical design and deployment of ServiceNow functionalities, features, and complex integrations with minimal supervision.
• Consult & Propose: Analyze existing business processes and functions to determine and propose optimal technical solutions.
• Scope Projects: Develop clear project scopes and objectives in partnership with relevant stakeholders while ensuring technical feasibility.
• Document Solutions: Create, update, and maintain comprehensive process, project, and technical documentation.
• Maintain & Support: Provide ongoing technical support, perform routine platform maintenance, and generate customized reports.
• Escalate & Report: Proactively identify platform risks and elevate critical issues to management when necessary.

Qualifications

• Professional Experience: 7–8 years of overall IT experience, including a minimum of 4+ years of hands‑on ServiceNow development.
• Platform Expertise: Proven ability to build and configure Workflows, Business Rules, UI Policies, and Client Scripts.
• ITSM Proficiency: Strong foundational understanding of IT Service Management processes and industry best practices.
• Technical Languages: Solid coding capability in JavaScript, alongside working knowledge of Java, HTML, and CSS.
• Service Portal: Practical understanding of and experience with ServiceNow Service Portal development.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) (Highly Preferred)
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – ITSM
