Job summary

Terrascale Innovation in Delhi is seeking a Business Systems Analyst for our ServiceNow team. You will gather requirements for inventory discovery and asset management, translate business needs into technical specs, and support the design and implementation of ITSM solutions aligned with IT strategy.

You will participate in agile ceremonies, create user stories and process flows, run gap analyses, and assist in configuring Asset Management and Discovery.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years as a Business Systems Analyst in ITSM/ITAM/ITOM environments.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform.
• Strong ITIL understanding and IT service management experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements for ServiceNow implementations, especially inventory discovery and management.
• Translate business processes into technical specs for the platform.
• Support design and implementation of ServiceNow solutions aligned with IT strategy.
• Participate in daily scrums, sprint planning, and backlog grooming.
• Create and maintain process flows, user stories, and functional specs.
• Run gap analyses between current and future processes and identify improvements.
• Assist in configuring ServiceNow modules, notably Asset Management and Discovery
• Facilitate workshops with business users to elicit requirements and validate solutions.
• Support UAT and train end users on new functionality.
• Collaborate with developers and architects to deliver projects successfully.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for ServiceNow implementations, with a focus on inventory discovery and inventory management
• Work with stakeholders to translate business processes into technical specifications
• Support the design and implementation of ServiceNow solutions aligned with business objectives and IT strategy
• Take part in agile ceremonies: daily scrums, sprint planning, and backlog grooming
• Create and maintain process flows, user stories, and functional specifications
• Run gap analysis between current and future state processes, and identify opportunities for improvement and automation
• Assist in configuring and customizing ServiceNow modules, particularly Asset Management and Discovery
• Facilitate workshops with business users to elicit requirements and validate solutions

• Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform
• Strong understanding of the ITIL framework and IT service management processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to turn complex business requirements into clear technical specifications
• Experience with process mapping and documentation
• Familiarity with agile methodology and tools like JIRA
• Skilled in reports, presentations, and technical documentation
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Previous MNC background preferred.

Good to Have

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or other ServiceNow certifications
• Experience in the financial services or insurance industry
• Understanding of IT governance, risk, and compliance (GRC)
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
