Job summary

Aggreko plc in Noida is seeking a Service Technician – Electrical to operate and maintain modular fleets including diesel and gas generators, chillers, load banks, and cooling towers. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance, on-site service, and ensuring performance aligns with client commitments.

You will monitor equipment, troubleshoot faults, and coordinate with onsite operators to maintain smooth, uninterrupted service and compliance with Aggreko standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical field: generators, transformers, load banks, chillers.
• Experience with Cummins/Iveco/Scania/Caterpillar diesel engines on LHP/HHP generators.
• Proficient with DEIF/Deepsea/Carrel controllers.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting switchgear (Siemens/Schneider).
• Knowledge of synchronizing generators and O&M of LV/HV transformers.
• HVAC fleet experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission modular fleets (generators, chillers, load banks, cooling towers).
• Perform preventive maintenance per schedule.
• Attend on-site service and breakdown calls.
• Monitor site performance and analyze equipment parameters; take corrective action.
• Adhere to Aggreko servicing schedules and procedures.
• Plan spares and consumables; maintain inventory at client site.
• Train operators and ensure log sheets are recorded.
• Ensure sites have qualified operators and maintain logbooks.
• Prepare equipment for hire per Aggreko Green Card.
• Get work reports approved by client and ensure legibility.
• Respond quickly to client needs with minimal disruption.

Job description

Bring your energy to Aggreko as Service Technician – Electrical based in Noida.

You’ll be responsible for the operation and Maintenance of Aggreko’s Modular fleets such as Diesel Generators, Gas Generators, Load Banks, Chillers, AC, and cooling Towers. To optimize performance of fleets with preventive and condition-based maintenance. Power without pause. Heating, cooling and oil-free air without end. We keep our customers’ worlds on. From world-class events that last a few weeks to mining operations and remote communities who rely on us for decades.

What you’ll do as Service Technician – Electrical:

• Installation, commissioning of modular portable fleets of generators, chillers, Load banks and Cooling towers.
• To carry out Preventive maintenance of company owned fleets as per maintenance schedule
• To attend on-site service / breakdown calls.
• To monitor / track site performance in line with commitment to client, analyze performance parameters of on-site equipment’s and take immediate corrective action with online support to site operator or in person if require.
• Comply with Aggreko servicing schedules and procedures.
• Spares, consumables planning and maintain minimum inventory at customer site
• Training to operators/ technicians and ensure log sheets are recorded diligently
• Ensure all customer operated sites having qualified operators to operate and maintain logbooks as per Aggreko standards.
• Maintain break down analysis reports and make awareness of the problem to other engineers.
• Ensure all equipment is prepared for hire in compliance with Aggreko ‘Green Card’ procedure.
• Ensure all work performed reports are approved by client (on site) and are legibly produced.
• Ensure immediate response and minimal disruption to client’s requirements.

You are:

• Experience in Electrical field (Generator, Transformer, Load bank & Chillers)
• Previous Experience with Cummins/Iveco/Scania/Caterpillar Diesel Generator engines on LHP/HHP generators.
• Experience of operation and maintenance of diesel / gas generators and it’s axillaries.
• Well versed to operate DEIF/Deepsea/carrel controllers.
• Worked Stamford/Leroy Sommer alternator for troubleshooting and minor repairs.
• To operate and Troubleshoot fault on switch gears / breakers (SIEMENS/Schneider)
• Basic knowledge on Synchronizing of generators, Hands on experience O&M and minor /major repairs of LV & HV transformers and switchgear panels.
• Operation and Maintenance, temperature control / HVAC equipment.
• Basic knowledge of operation and maintenance of AC & DC Load Bank.
• Experience working on HVAC fleets (Chillers/Cooling Towers/PHE/AHU) would be added advantage
• Effective troubleshooting capability and ability to read electrical drawings undefined
