Job summary

Aggreko is seeking a Product Design Engineer - Electrical to join our Pune-based team. You will support the design, development and continuous improvement of electrical systems across Aggreko’s manufactured product range, ensuring solutions are efficient, reliable and meet evolving global customer needs.

As an experienced electrical engineer, you will work with CAD tools (EPLAN preferred), PLM/MRP systems and cross-functional teams to deliver detailed schematics, wiring diagrams and BOMs for

Qualifications

• An experienced electrical engineer with strong systems and equipment design expertise.
• Proficient in electrical CAD tools (EPLAN preferred) and confident working with PLM/MRP systems.
• Knowledgeable in electrical controls, panel design, generators, motor control centres and drives.
• Able to interpret requirements and produce detailed schematics, wiring diagrams and specifications up to 13.8kV.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate and support validation and commissioning of electrical systems, including creation of specifications, schematics and test procedures.
• Develop and maintain electrical CAD platforms (EPLAN) and ensure high-quality deliverables aligned to time, cost and quality targets.
• Create and manage Bills of Materials and part specifications to support efficient manufacturing and assembly.
• Provide electrical SME support across manufacturing, operations, RCA investigations and supplier engagement.
• Drive continuous improvement across product design, ensuring safety, reliability, efficiency and adaptability to new applications and markets.

You’ll support the design, development and continuous improvement of electrical systems across Aggreko’s manufactured product range, ensuring solutions are efficient, reliable and meet the evolving needs of our global customers.

What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, integrate and support validation and commissioning of electrical systems, including creation of specifications, schematics and test procedures
