Job summary

Hach is seeking a Service Engineer to join our Global Water Quality team in Gujarat on a hybrid model. You will handle operation and PM calls, demos, and I&C activities, and help generate leads for sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 5-6 years engineering or diploma background, willingness to travel across India, and strong communication with customers; experience with ServiceMax/SFDC is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years’ experience in service engineering or similar role.
• Engineering degree or diploma; experience with Hach products preferred.
• Willingness to relocate nationwide and travel.

Responsibilities

• Meet response and turnaround times on assigned calls.
• Complete all PMs as scheduled.
• Plan for I&C and demo activities.
• Develop relationships with customers to boost satisfaction.
• Generate leads by engaging with customers and passing to Marketing.
• Meet service sales targets monthly, quarterly and yearly.
• Maintain CRM records in ServiceMax and SFDC.

The Service Engineer is responsible for handling all operation and PM calls assigned with the committed SLA’s, Complete Demo and I & C Jobs based on the projects boked & to generate leads for new sales with increase Customer Satisfaction.

This position is part of the _ Service Team _ located in _ Gujarat _ and will be on Hybrid Model.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

• Meet up the Response and Turn Around time on the calls assigned
• Complete all the PM’s as per the schedule
• Plan for all the I &C and Demo activities allotted
• Develop good relation with customers to enhance the satisfaction levels
• Generate leads by interacting with the customers and pass on through the Mkt Teams
• Meet Service sales targets to achieve the monthly, quarterly and annual financial targets of operating revenue
• Discipline on CRM packages of Service Max and SFDC

The essential requirements of the job include:

• 5-6 years’ experience with a degree in Engineering / Diploma preferably worked on Hach / similar products
• Willingness to relocate across India basis job / company priorities
• Willingness to travel.
