Job summary

Quality HR India Pvt. Ltd. seeks a Service Engineer (Mechanical) for Vasai - Mumbai.

You will handle installation, commissioning, alignment, and testing of machine tools to ensure precise performance at customer sites across India. Candidates with 4–5 years' mechanical experience, ability to read drawings, and strong communication and travel willingness across India are preferred. You will prepare service reports and provide on-site technical support.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of mechanical engineering experience in service or maintenance.
• Hands-on expertise with installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission machine tools and equipment.
• Assemble, align, and level machines, and conduct tests and trials.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Read drawings and prepare service/commissioning reports.
• Travel to customer sites across India to provide on-site support.

• Installation and commissioning of machine tools.
• Machine assembly, alignment, and levelling.
• Machine testing and trial runs.
• Mechanical troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance.
• Preventive maintenance of machines.
• Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings.
• Providing technical support to customers.
• Preparing service and commissioning reports.
• Travelling to customer sites across India.

Required Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting abilities.
• Knowledge of machine tools and industrial machinery.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings.
• Familiarity with machine alignment, assembly, and precision measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, and Dial Gauges.
