Job summary

Schindler in Delhi is seeking a Service Engineer to perform maintenance, repairs and small modernizations on customer equipment while adhering to safety rules. You will manage the service route, schedule visits, and ensure timely call-back responses, including nights and weekends as needed.

The role requires expertise in electronics, electrical systems, mechanics and hydraulics, with an emphasis on customer service and clear communication.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma candidates with relevant E&E exposure.
• Strong know-how in electronics, electricity, mechanics and hydraulics.
• Customer oriented behavior and strong communication skills.
• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical or Electronics) is preferred.
• Experience in service/maintenance environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create operational value through maintenance, repairs and small modernizations on customer equipment following safety rules.
• Own the assigned service route and organize time to maximize safety and reliability.
• Respond to all call-backs promptly and be available for coverage during nights, weekends and holidays.
• Perform service, repairs and minor modernizations as per Schindler standards and safety policies.
• Keep customers informed on equipment condition and maintenance actions.
• Accurately record time, parts usage and service reports in Field Link.

Job Summary

Service Engineer (Customer Engineer/ Sr. Customer Engineer/ Team Lead- Service and Maintenance)

Your main responsibilities

• The Customer Engineer creates operational added value through the performance of maintenance, repairs and small modernizations on customers equipment in an efficient, effective and professional manner in order to provide outstanding customer service following the safety rules.
• Take responsibility for the assigned service route and organize his time to complete the assigned visits and the specific tasks within each visit in order to maximize the safety and reliability of the equipment.
• Respond to all call backs that are assigned in a timely manner and be available for call back coverage during regular work hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Perform all service, repairs and small modernizations according to the Schindler standards, including safety policies.
• Keep the customer informed regarding the condition of his equipment, preventive and corrective repairs and discretionary repairs or modernizations.
• Complete all required data inputs in a diligent and honest fashion; these include time reporting, parts usage, call back reporting, maintenance performance and repair and modernization work reports in Field Link.

• Expertise: Desired experience as Technician in E&E industry for at least four years (ITI) and two years for Diploma holder.
