Job summary

Loom Solar Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Service Engineer to manage installation support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer service for solar products.

The role includes ensuring smooth operation of panels, inverters, batteries, and related equipment while upholding high customer satisfaction. The candidate will travel to customer sites for on-site service and collaborate with sales, production, and technical teams to resolve complex issues.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with relevant certification.
• Freshers or 1–3 years in electrical maintenance or solar service.
• Able to travel to customer sites and work in field.
• Proficient in using electrical testing instruments.
• Good communication and customer handling.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and maintain solar power systems including panels, inverters, batteries, and wiring systems.
• Diagnose electrical faults at customer sites and resolve issues.
• Provide after-sales service and ensure timely complaint resolution.
• Conduct preventive maintenance of installed systems.
• Test equipment performance and ensure systems operate efficiently.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as sales, production, and technical support.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance logs, and customer feedback records.
• Educate customers on product usage, safety precautions, and maintenance.
• Travel to customer locations for on-site service when required.

About The Role

Loom Solar is looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Service Engineer to handle installation support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer service for solar products and systems. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth functioning of solar panels, inverters, batteries, and related equipment while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and maintain solar power systems including panels, inverters, batteries, and wiring systems.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and technical faults at customer sites.
• Provide after-sales service and ensure timely complaint resolution.
• Conduct preventive maintenance of installed systems.

Requirements

Required Qualification

• ITI in Electrical / Electrician Trade

OR

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Experience

• Freshers can apply.
• 1-3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, solar service, or field service will be preferred.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of solar systems, inverters, and batteries.
• Ability to use electrical tools and testing instruments such as multimeter, clamp meter, etc.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and customer handling skills.
• Ability to work independently and in field conditions.
• Willingness to travel for service visits.
• Basic computer knowledge for reporting and documentation.
