Job summary

Intek Security Systems is seeking a field service engineer to install, configure, test, and commission ELV systems including CCTV, access control, fire alarm and BMS. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance at client sites and troubleshoot complex issues, with travel to customer locations as required.

The role requires hands-on experience with CCTV, ACS, FAS, BMS, and networking, plus the ability to read schematics and service reports.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE/BTech in ECE/EEE/Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation or related discipline.
• 2-5 years of experience in ELV, Security Systems, Building Automation, or IBMS projects.
• Hands-on experience in CCTV, ACS, Fire Alarm Systems, BMS, and Networking.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and commission ELV systems (CCTV, ACS, FAS, PA, BMS/IBMS).
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance at client sites.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot ELV and security systems.
• Attend breakdown calls and ensure timely resolution of service requests.
• Perform system inspections and health checks per AMC requirements.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain service reports and client documentation.
• Assist in project handovers, testing, and commissioning.
• Ensure safety standards and company procedures are followed.
• Provide technical support and training to customers when required.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in ECE, EEE, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related disciplines.
• 2-5 years of experience in ELV, Security Systems, Building Automation, or IBMS projects.
• Hands-on experience in CCTV, ACS, Fire Alarm Systems, BMS, and Networking.
• Good understanding of structured cabling and field troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of AMC, preventive maintenance, and service operations.

• Willingness to travel to client locations and handle field service activities.
• Possession of a valid driving license will be an added advantage.
