Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking an experienced Service Engineer in Delhi, India to install, commission and maintain rotary air compressors. The role demands strong technical skills, customer focus and willingness to undertake travel for on-site support.

The candidate should have a 3-year Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical and be prepared for overtime and tight service schedules to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with hands-on industrial experience.
• Willingness to travel as part of service assignments and customer support.
• Ability to troubleshoot and service rotary air compressors.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning & servicing of air compressors.
• Achieve revenue and collection targets.
• Coordinate internally and externally to complete tasks on time.
• Explore opportunities for upgrades and service extensions.
• Flexibility for overtime and weekend work when required.
• Frequent travel with possible overnight stays.
• Ensure customer satisfaction while aligning with stakeholder needs.
• Knowledge of installation, commissioning and maintenance.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Service Engineer to install, commission, and maintain rotary air compressors. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-centric approach. The role involves frequent travel, overtime, and ensuring customer satisfaction while managing stakeholder requirements.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning & Servicing of Air compressors
• To achieve revenue & collection targets
• Co-ordination on various level internally & externally to get the require work done on time
• Explore the new business opportunities such as upgrades
• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.
• Frequent travel requirements with some overnight travel
• Ensuring the Customer Satisfaction while managing & working in line with the requirement of allied stake-holders.
• Skill set required:
• Knowledge in installation, commissioning, Maintenance

Basic Qualifications

• Qualification: 3years Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical

Key Competencies

• Compressor knowledge: In-depth understanding of rotary air compressors, including installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Strong mechanical skills, including troubleshooting and repair of compressors and related equipment.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, including control circuits and motor control.
• Understanding of pneumatic systems, including piping, valves, and controls.
