Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Service Engineer to install, commission, and maintain rotary air compressors in Pune, India. The role requires a strong technical background, customer focus, and willingness to travel with occasional overtime.

The candidate should hold a 3-year Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical engineering and be capable of installation, commissioning, and maintenance of centrifugal equipment, ensuring high customer satisfaction and timely work delivery.

Qualifications

• 3-year diploma in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• Experience with installation, commissioning and maintenance of rotary air compressors.
• Willingness to travel and work overtime/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning & Servicing of Air compressors
• To achieve revenue & collection targets
• Co-ordination on various level internally & externally to get the require work done on time
• Explore the new business opportunities such as upgrades
• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.
• Frequent travel requirements with some overnight travel
• Ensuring the Customer Satisfaction while managing & working in line with the requirement of allied stake-holders
• Knowledge in installation, commissioning & maintenance

• Understanding of pneumatic systems, including piping, valves, and controls.
