Job summary

Epam Systems is seeking an experienced Service Delivery Manager for HPC and ITIL/ITSM to drive end-to-end delivery of HPC services. You will connect research needs with IT capabilities, optimize the HPC environment, and shape its strategic evolution for advanced scientific work.

You will lead operations, collaborate across teams, manage budgets and timelines, and contribute to roadmaps while ensuring compliance and security standards across the HPC stack.

Qualifications

• 13–15 years of professional experience in HPC/IT service delivery.
• Proven experience managing large-scale HPC environments in pharma/biotech or research sectors.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Deep understanding of HPC architecture, cluster management and parallel file systems.
• Knowledge of high-speed interconnects and job scheduling.
• Strong PM and leadership skills with excellent communication abilities.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities for complex technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of HPC infrastructure, including compute clusters, storage systems and software stack.
• Collaborate with research and development teams to translate computational needs into technical requirements.
• Lead projects for expansion and enhancement of HPC capabilities, managing timelines, budgets and resources.
