Job summary

Genpact is recruiting for an Order-to-Cash professional to oversee cash application and AR processes in a dynamic finance team. You will manage end-to-end OTC activities, including master data, billing, collections, disputes, and reporting.

Responsibilities include ensuring timely cash postings, reconciling subledgers to GL, and delivering governance reviews with action plans. The role emphasizes process improvement and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have accounting and AR experience with cash application and collections.
• Strong Excel and ERP skills; familiarity with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
• Experience with financial close, SOX controls, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cash application accuracy for ACH, wire, checks, and remittance data.
• Manage AR subledger to GL reconciliation and month-end close tasks.
• Lead Order to Cash processes including billing, collections, and disputes.
• Monitor SLAs, KPIs and drive governance calls and action items.
• Provide insights to improve cash flow and process efficiency.
• Mentor OTC team and support Lean Six Sigma initiatives.

Cash Application

Oversee timely processing and allocation of customer receipts. Ensure accurate posting of ACH, wire transfers, checks, and remittance information.

Monitor unapplied cash and ensure prompt investigation and resolution.

Support AR Subledger to GL reconciliation processes and month-end close requirements.

OTC Governance, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

Manage day-to-day Order to Cash process including Customer Master, Order Management, Billing Collections, Cash Application, and Dispute Management & Reporting.

Ensure achievement of contractual SLAs, KPIs, and operational targets including quality and Productivity.

Conduct regular governance calls, service reviews, and business updates. Produce an action list after meetings for action, ownership and deadlines.

Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve cash flow and operational performance.

Effective management of sequential liability across the Order-to-Cash process by monitoring upstream and downstream dependencies, driving timely resolution of process breaks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to minimize impacts.

Analyze trends across collections, billing accuracy, disputes, customer setup, and cash application metrics.

Drive data-based decision-making and forecasting.

Conduct regular performance reviews and career development discussions with documented action plan.

Guide, mentor, and support OTC associates and analysts.

Lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives focused on productivity and quality improvement.

Ensure compliance with SOX, audit requirements, internal controls, and client policies.
