Job summary

Genpact in India is seeking a Service Delivery Leader for F&A - I2C to drive end-to-end OTC operations, data governance, and process improvements across master data, order management, billing, and collections.

You will lead teams across functions, deliver actionable insights, manage risk, and ensure SOX compliance, while partnering with finance and transformation teams to optimize cash flow and operational performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in finance, accounting, or related fields.
• Professional certifications (ACCA, CIMA, SAP) are a plus.
• Experience in OTC processes, AR, billing, and collections.
• Strong data analytics and process-improvement skills.
• Leadership experience in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end OTC operations including master data, order management, billing, and collections.
• Ensure data governance, accuracy, and compliance with client policies.
• Monitor controls around customer setup and order management activities.
• Oversee billing operations and timely invoice delivery.
• Execute client-defined collections strategies to improve cash flow.
• Lead reduction of DSO and aging metrics.
• Coordinate AR reconciliations and revenue reconciliations.
• Provide analytical insights for forecasting and risk mitigation.
• Present MIS and business insights to executives.
• Manage workforce planning, capacity, hiring, and engagement.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end OTC operations covering Customer Master Data, Order Management, Billing, Collections, Dispute Management, Reporting, Revenue Reconciliation, and Working Capital Management
• Follow governance as per client policy for customer master data creation, maintenance, approval workflows, and data quality controls.
• Monitor process compliance and ensure effective controls around customer setup and order management activities
• Lead billing operations ensuring accurate and timely invoice generation and delivery. Review controls
• Adopt collections strategy provided by client and execute them to improve cash flow, reduce aging, and optimize working capital performance
• Drive reduction of overdue receivables, Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and delinquency metrics
• Ensure timely completion of AR reconciliations, revenue reconciliations, and subledger-to-GL reconciliations.
• Leverage analytics to support decision-making, forecasting, productivity improvements, and risk mitigation
• Delivering actionable insights on aging trends, dispute drivers, collections performance, billing effectiveness, and customer behavior
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Agencies, Client’s Finance Controllers, Business Finance Teams, Agency Leaders, IT, and Transformation teams
• Conduct Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews, service reviews, governance meetings, and performance discussions. Produce an action list after meetings for action, ownership and deadlines
• Provide proactive recommendations to improve cash flow, collections efficiency, and customer experience
• Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of critical business issues
• Lead managers, team leaders, and operational teams across multiple functions
• Manage workforce planning, resource optimization, capacity requirements, hiring, attrition, productivity, and employee engagement
• Govern risk management across customer master, billing, collections, revenue recognition, and reconciliation processes.
• Support digital transformation programs and ERP enhancements
• Ensure compliance with SOX, audit requirements, internal controls, and client policies
• Manage operational risks and establish preventive controls around billing, cash application, credit, collections, write-offs, and customer master data
• Maintain process documentation and governance frameworks around data security, segregation of duties, and financial controls
• Present executive-level MIS and business insights

Preferred ERP System Knowledge

Experience working with one or more of the following ERP platforms will be considered an advantage

D365, Dynamics AX, ANEAL, SAP, Marathon and Map plan, Vantage, cSAP and DATEV
