Job summary

Vanderlande is seeking a Service Controller in Pune to join the Voice business control team. The role focuses on finance controlling, data analysis, and continuous improvement across Airports, Warehousing, and Distribution domains in a multinational setting.

You will work with project service controlling teams worldwide, supporting forecasting, cost tracking, and performance analyses, while leveraging Excel and Power BI to drive insights and efficiencies.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in finance, business control, or FP&A.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Economics, or a related field.
• Fluent in English and strong communication.
• Understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation, analysis, and reporting of financial data for service contracts globally.
• Support monthly forecasting, identify deviations, explain performance drivers.

You will be joining our Voice business control team, working in close collaboration with the project service controlling teams across the world. What You Will Do

• Assisting in the preparation, analysis, and reporting of financial data for service support contracts across the world.
• Supporting monthly forecasting processes, identifying deviations, and helping explain performance drivers.
• Collaborating with Controllers and Project Managers to track cost and revenue performance.
• Participating in initiatives to automate and streamline financial processes.
• Using tools like Excel, Power BI, and other data platforms to drive insights and efficiencies.
• Contributing to continuous improvement and helping implement smarter ways of working.
• Supporting compliance with internal controls and finance policies.
• Participating in financial review meetings and building strong relationships with business stakeholders.

What You Bring

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Economics, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in a finance, business control, or FP&A role
• Eager to learn and improve
• Understanding of accounting principles
• Strong knowledge of Excel, with experience in data analysis
• Exposure to Power BI or other dashboarding/visualization tools
• A strong interest in automation, technology, and process improvement
• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Given the global scope of support contract responsibilities, flexibility in accommodating international meeting schedules—especially across time zones is key [expected several times a month mainly to accommodate to the US]
