Sopra Steria in Bengaluru seeks an experienced engineer for SB Engineering and Configuration and technical documentation. You will act as the technical and operational reference for the Indian team on SB design, authoring, checking and release.

Key tasks include reviewing SBs and preparation files, ensuring compliance with S1000D, ATA iSpec 2200 and ATA 100, and supporting onboarding and upskilling of the team. 6–8 years in the field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Engg graduate with 6–9 years in aircraft modification or technical documentation.
• Hands-on experience with Service Bulletins (SBs) and related processes.
• Experience with industry standards (S1000D / ATA iSpec 2200) is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Act as the technical and operational reference for the Indian team on the SB environment, processes and related activities.
• Review SBs and SB preparation files; answer technical queries on configuration, drawings and inputs.
• Ensure compliance with Airbus documentation standards and with standard work processes.
• Support onboarding, coaching and upskilling; maintain up-to-date process documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of SB processes, tools usage and error reduction.

SB Engineering and Configuration

• SAMM DACAS, VIEW, PMT

Authoring and Documentation

• AMM, SRM, CMM, IPC, ESPM, MAS, TRS, Technical Offers (TO), SBO, RDAF

Business Applications, Support and Reporting

• ServiceNow, JIRA
• Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for KPI reporting
• Act as the technical and operational reference for the Indian team on the Service Bulletins environment, processes and related activities (SB design, authoring, preparation, checking and release).
• Review and quality-check SBs and SB preparation files produced by the team (technical, incoming and quality checks), and answer technical queries on configuration, drawings, TRS/MAS inputs and Technical Offers.
• Ensure compliance with Airbus documentation and configuration standards (S1000D, ATA iSpec 2200, ATA 100) and with standard work processes and style guidelines.
• Support knowledge transfer: onboarding of new joiners, coaching and upskilling, and maintenance of up-to-date process documentation, checklists and reference material.
• Contribute actively to the development and autonomy of the team, identifying skill gaps, proposing training plans and progressively transferring review and decision-making responsibilities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of SB processes, tools usage, rework and error-rate reduction.

Total Experience Expected: 06-08 years

Qualifications

Engg Graduate with experience of 6 to 9 years in aircraft modification, retrofit engineering or technical documentation, including substantial hands-on experience in Service Bulletins
