Job summary

Sopra Steria in India is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support Production System Efficiency, shop floor scheduling, and process improvements. You will work with engineering and ME teams to harmonize workflows and ensure quality outputs, with hands-on Catia V5 experience. UAT and TD tool improvements will be part of the role.

The candidate should have 4–6 years of relevant experience in industrial operations and manufacturing assembly, with willingness to travel as project needs arise.

Qualifications

• BE/B.E. in mechanical engineering required.
• Hands-on experience with Catia V5; 3DExperience is a plus.
• Experience in industrial plant operations and manufacturing assembly.

Responsibilities

• Support activities for Production System Efficiency and shop floor scheduling.
• Harmonize & optimize ways of working with engineering and ME teams.
• Do UAT based on requirements and document outcomes.
• Identify improvements in TD authoring tool (WISE).

Job Description

• Support activities for Production System Efficiency (PSE) such as Manufacturing Engineering Shop Floor Scheduling Harmonize, and Support ME Process (Work Instructions, Process Planning, ME Methods) and documentation.
• Harmonize & Optimize way of working with engineering and ME community Ensure Manufacturing competence and learning management Support change management.
• Hands on experience in Catia V5. 3D experience is a plus.
• Solid experience in Industrial Plant operations & Manufacturing assembly
• Good Knowledge with Airbus Business Process and Airbus Process & Methods.
• Do the UAT [User acceptance Test] based on requirement.
• Identify the improvement in TD authoring tool [WISE].
• Ready to work in any Aerospace technologies (Technical authoring, & Tool Support).
• V&V Strategy capabilities, Functional approach
• Meet the needs of internal and external customers, through documenting, understanding and prioritizing customer requirements.
• Collect the Business requirement from different tool
• Flexible enough and deliver the quality output as per Client requirement.
• Defines and develop the required specification documents to be reviewed with stakeholders and Product team members
• Be able to collaborate effectively with multi-Functional teams.
• Experience in Final Assembly Line.

Total Experience Expected: 04-06 years
