Job summary

Meditab India is seeking a Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable environments across cloud and on-premises platforms. You will own infrastructure spanning public cloud, virtualization, and directory services, automating provisioning, cost optimization, and reliability across hybrid systems.

Key responsibilities include deploying cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), managing VMware/Nutanix platforms, Active Directory, IaC with Terraform/CloudFormation/Pulumi,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or site reliability.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience administering VMware (vSphere/vCenter/ESXi) and/or Nutanix (AHV/Prism).
• Strong working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows Server administration and networking fundamentals.
• Preferred Certifications like AWS Solutions Architect, VCP, Nutanix NCP, CKA, or Microsoft Certified: Azure/Identity.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS / Azure / GCP.
• Administer and maintain virtualization platforms including VMware (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi) and Nutanix (AHV, Prism).
• Manage Active Directory: domain services, group policy (GPO), DNS, DHCP, and identity/access administration.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for reliable, automated deployments.
• Monitor system health, set up alerting, and respond to incidents to meet uptime/SLA targets.
• Manage containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Enforce security best practices: IAM, network segmentation, encryption, and compliance.
• Optimize cloud and infrastructure spend through right-sizing, autoscaling, and capacity planning.
• Support hybrid connectivity between on-prem (VMware/Nutanix) and cloud environments.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and disaster recovery procedures.
