ObjectTechnology Solutions, Inc (OTSI) has an immediate opening for a Server Administrator – Level 1

Experience: 3 to 5 Years

MAJOR RESPOSIBILITIES

• Provide first-line support for server operations, health monitoring, and routine maintenance.
• Monitor server performance (Windows/Linux OS), including CPU, memory, disk usage, and system availability.
• Create, modify, and delete user accounts and manage access permissions.
• Apply routine OS patches, security updates, and antivirus updates.
• Troubleshoot basic operating system and server-related issues.
• Assist with hardware replacements and upgrades, including HDDs, RAM, and other server components.
• Escalate, track, and document incidents through the ticketing system.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

• Basic knowledge of Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of server monitoring, performance management, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with user account administration and access control.
• Familiarity with patch management and antivirus administration.
• Basic knowledge of server hardware components and maintenance procedures.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and incident management processes.
