This role involves monitoring server performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing server configurations to support various applications and services. The administrator will also work closely with the IT team to assist with infrastructure improvements, backups, and disaster recovery processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and manage Windows and Linux servers
• Monitor server performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Conduct regular maintenance, updates, and patches for server operating systems
• Ensure server security by implementing firewalls, access controls, and encryption
• Manage virtualized environments using tools such as VMware or Hyper‑V
• Perform backup and recovery operations to safeguard data and ensure business continuity
• Collaborate with network teams to maintain proper network configurations
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for server management
• Assist in capacity planning and optimization of server resources
