Job summary

Veye Research in Gurugram, India seeks an experienced SEO Specialist to boost organic search, increase site visibility, and drive qualified traffic. You will own keyword strategy, on-page optimization, technical SEO, and collaborate with content, marketing and development teams.

The role requires strong analytics, link building, local SEO, and staying updated with search engine changes. Proficiency in GA, GSC, Ahrefs, Moz and SEMrush, plus HTML/CSS and CMS like WordPress or Shopify, is essential

Qualifications

• 25 years of SEO or digital marketing experience with a proven track record.
• Proficient with GA, GSC, Ahrefs, Moz and SEMrush.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and CMS platforms such as WordPress and Shopify.
• Understanding of search algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field preferred.
• SEO certifications such as GA/Ads are an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research and develop content strategies.

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven SEO Specialist to improve our organic search performance, increase website visibility, and drive qualified traffic. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of SEO strategies, analytics, technical optimization, and content development.

Key Responsibilities

• Keyword Research & Strategy: Identify high-value keywords and develop effective strategies for content creation and optimization.
• On-Page SEO: Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, images, URLs, and internal linking in line with SEO best practices.
• Technical SEO: Audit and improve website performance, including site speed, mobile-friendliness, crawlability, indexing, and schema markup.
• Content Development: Collaborate with content teams to create SEO-friendly blogs, landing pages, product descriptions, and other website content.
• Link Building: Develop and execute strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks from relevant and reputable websites.
• Analytics & Reporting: Monitor SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs, and prepare regular reports on traffic, rankings, and conversions.
• Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitors SEO strategies to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive advantage.
• Algorithm Updates: Stay updated with search engine algorithm changes and adapt SEO strategies accordingly.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, content, and web development teams to align SEO initiatives with overall business objectives.
• Local SEO: Optimize local search visibility through Google Business Profile, local citations, reviews, and other relevant strategies.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 25 years of experience in SEO or digital marketing, with a proven track record of improving organic search performance.
• Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Moz, and SEMrush.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms such as WordPress and Shopify.
• Good knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• SEO-related certifications such as Google Analytics or Google Ads certifications are an added advantage.
