Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and creative SEO Manager to optimize our website content and enhance our online presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword research, on-page and off-page SEO techniques, and analytics tools. The SEO Manager will play a critical role in driving traffic, improving search engine rankings, and increasing brand awareness.
Responsibilities
- Keyword Research: Conduct thorough keyword research and identify opportunities to improve search engine rankings.
- On-Page SEO: Optimize website content, including meta titles, descriptions, header tags, and images for SEO.
- Off-Page SEO: Develop and implement link-building strategies to improve domain authority and website ranking.
- Content Strategy: Collaborate with the content team to create SEO-friendly content that aligns with our brand and marketing goals.
- Technical SEO: Identify and resolve technical SEO issues such as site speed, mobile responsiveness, and crawl errors.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO software. Provide regular reports on key metrics and suggest improvements.
- Competitor Analysis: Conduct competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
- SEO Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to ensure our strategies are current and effective.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, content, and web development teams to align SEO strategies with overall business objectives.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in SEO or a similar role.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Moz.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
- Experience with CMS platforms, especially WordPress.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Certifications: SEO certifications from recognized institutions are a plus.
