Job summary

Giift Inc. is seeking an SEO Intern who can independently handle and execute SEO tasks assigned by the team. The role emphasizes hands-on experience with on-page, off-page, technical SEO, and content optimization, plus AEO and GEO concepts.

The ideal candidate has 0–1 year of SEO exposure, can research and analyze competitors, and communicate progress clearly. Training will cover live optimization tasks and usage of standard SEO tools.

Qualifications

• Completed 1–2 real SEO projects or internships.
• Able to explain keyword research, on-page, technical SEO and backlinks basics.
• Can differentiate SEO, AEO and GEO with practical optimization approaches.
• Capable of live SEO task completion (keyword research, audit, improvements).
• Demonstrates familiarity with at least 2 SEO tools.

Responsibilities

• Handle and execute SEO tasks assigned by the team.
• Conduct keyword research for given topics.
• Perform basic SEO audits of web pages.
• Identify 5–10 actionable SEO improvements.

We are looking for an SEO Intern who can independently handle and execute SEO tasks assigned by the team.

Key Requirements

• Basic hands-on SEO experience through an internship, freelance work, personal projects, or up to 1 year of experience.
• Good understanding of on-page SEO, off-page SEO, keyword research, technical SEO, and content optimization.
• Strong understanding of AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization).
• Ability to conduct research, analyze competitors, and identify SEO opportunities.
• Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, or similar SEO tools.
• Ability to follow instructions, manage assigned tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate progress clearly.
• Strong research, analytical, and written communication skills.
• Proactive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a rapidly evolving SEO landscape.

Measurable Screening Criteria

Candidates should ideally meet the following criteria:

• SEO Experience: Completed at least 1-2 real SEO projects, internships, freelance assignments, or equivalent practical work.
• SEO Knowledge: Able to explain and demonstrate understanding of keyword research, on-page SEO, technical SEO, and backlink basics.
• AEO and GEO Knowledge: Able to clearly explain the difference between SEO, AEO, and GEO, along with practical optimization approaches.
• Practical Assessment: Should be able to complete a short SEO task live, such as:

• Conduct keyword research for a given topic.
• Perform a basic SEO audit of a webpage.
• Identify 5-10 actionable SEO improvements.
• Suggest how a piece of content could be optimized for AI search and answer engines.

• Tool Familiarity: Should demonstrate basic familiarity with at least 2 SEO tools.
• Communication: Must be able to clearly document findings and explain recommendations.
• Availability & Execution: Should be capable of handling assigned tasks independently and meeting agreed deadlines.

Ideal candidate: Someone with practical SEO knowledge, strong research skills, and a genuine understanding of how search is evolving beyond traditional Google rankings into AI-powered search and answer engines.
