Workplace Strategy is the process of bridging the gap between clients and their design needs. It involves utilizing tools and techniques to extract essential project information, helping clients address challenges related to spatial programming, consolidation, requirements, and transitioning to hybrid spaces. Our team collaborates with clients before the design stage, sometimes assisting them in determining if a design project is necessary. We serve as advisors, guides, and subject matter experts on all workplace-related matters.
To effectively support our clients, we engage in research, benchmarking, and knowledge-sharing initiatives both within and outside of Space Matrix. Our efforts include a variety of project-related and non-project internal initiatives focused on research, data collection, and, to a limited extent, data analytics.
We are on a mission to #MakeTheWorldABetterPlaceToWork and seek individuals excited to shape the future of work. Our goal is to move beyond traditional methods to facilitate workplace transformation with optimal business outcomes.
This is not a design role; rather, you will be part of our Workplace Strategy Team, enabling designers and clients' design thinking by creating research and data-driven content to enhance the design teams' work. This multi-skill role requires collaboration with team members, where you may take on various responsibilities—primarily as a researcher, strategist, and presentation expert.
Some activities may involve brainstorming, creative deck creation, and problem-solving, necessitating strong reading, writing, and speaking skills. This role is client-facing, requiring an understanding of Workplace Design Thinking Principles and aspects of Design and Build projects for effective client interactions and presentations. Structured and unstructured thinking, along with public speaking skills, will be essential.
