Fluence BESS India Private Limited seeks a Senior Warranty and Claims Specialist to manage end-to-end warranty operations, including customer and supplier claims, cost tracking, and reporting. You will work with Service, Quality, Procurement, Finance, and OEM partners to resolve claims and improve warranty performance.

The ideal candidate has 6–10 years in warranty/claim management within power/utility or construction, with knowledge of standard and extended warranties and contract drafting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in warranty/claim management in power/utility or construction sectors.
• Knowledge of warranties and contract drafting is preferred.
• Proficient data analytics and strong collaboration skills.

About the Position

The Senior Warranty & Claims Specialist is responsible for managing end-to-end warranty operations, including customer warranty claims, supplier recovery claims, and warranty-related cost tracking. This role works closely with Service, Quality, Procurement, Finance, and OEM suppliers to ensure timely claim resolution, maximize cost recovery, and improve warranty performance. The position also supports warranty reporting, failure trend analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen product reliability and reduce warranty risk across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customer and supplier warranty claims from initiation through closure.
• Drive supplier recoveries and track claim settlements.
• Track warranty budget and actual expenses - warranty cost per MWh
• Ensure timely adjudication and resolution of customer claims, ensure contractual compliance.
• OEM warranty extensions beyond standard warranty period.
• Executing warranty assignments to end customers.
• Cost estimates for non-conformation.
• Coordinate with technical teams to investigate failures and determine warranty entitlement.
• Analyze warranty trends, claim costs, and recovery performance.
• Maintain accurate warranty records and reporting dashboards.
• Support warranty, reserve planning, and financial forecasting.
• Improve warranty processes, tools, and data quality to enhance operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications and experience

• A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering/mechanical Engineer/ or equivalent.
• 6-10 years of experience in warranty and claim management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in contract & claim management in Power, Utility, Oil & Gas or Construction industry
• Good knowledge of standard and extended warranties
• Good knowledge of contract drafting and contract maintenance.
• Understanding of product performance insurance, and experience in handling insurance claims.
• Data analytics skills.
• Tools knowledge - Salesforce and SAP
• Other strong proficiency - Service excellence, sound decision maker, strong collaborator, knowledge of requisition / purchase to pay process
