About Leena AI

Leena AI is the world’s largest independent employee-facing Agentic AI company. Our platform lets employees get answers and get work done across every business system through a single conversation — cutting IT, HR, and finance ticket volume by around 70% at the enterprises that deploy us.

Leena AI is the world’s largest independent employee-facing Agentic AI company. Our platform lets employees get answers and get work done across every business system through a single conversation — cutting IT, HR, and finance ticket volume by around 70% at the enterprises that deploy us. Founded in 2018 and headquartered in New York, we serve 500+ customers across 90+ countries — including Nestlé, MongoDB, Coca-Cola, and Etihad Airways — with 200+ integrations and support for 100+ languages. We’ve raised $40M+ from Greycroft, Bessemer Venture Partners, B Capital, and Y Combinator.

The role

We’re adding a second senior voice to our design team. You’ll work alongside our Principal Graphic Designer, who sets the overall standard, and take real ownership of the work that shouldn’t have to wait for his review — with the authority to direct it, unblock other designers on it, and hold the quality bar yourself.

Roughly 70% of this role is static design and 30% is motion and video. Your primary charter within the static work is digital and paid marketing creative — LinkedIn ads above all, which you’ll own outright — plus website design, sales enablement assets, and campaign systems. The motion work runs two ways: minor pieces you build yourself in After Effects and Premiere Pro, and major pieces our motion designers build that you art‑direct and elevate.

We also want you to bring an aesthetic we don’t already have. If you join and simply match our existing style, we’ve hired the wrong person. We’re looking for a sharply current point of view and someone who will argue for pulling our work forward.

What you’ll ownDigital and paid marketing creative — your primary charter
  • Own LinkedIn ad creative end to end — static, carousel, document, and video ads, at the volume paid social actually demands.
  • Partner with performance marketing on creative testing: hypotheses, variant systems, and reading what the numbers say is working.
  • Design landing pages, display, email, and organic social so a campaign holds together from first impression to conversion.
  • Bring craft to a discipline that usually doesn’t get it. Most B2B paid creative is ugly. Ours shouldn’t be.
Website
  • Design new pages and sections of leena.ai — hero moments, product pages, feature modules, campaign landing pages — thinking in components and breakpoints, not artboards.
  • Produce web‑ready assets: product imagery, illustrations, animated GIFs, UI mockups. Hand off cleanly to whoever builds it.
Brand, sales, and campaign collateral
  • Design the docs that carry our biggest deals: sales narratives, pitch decks, executive presentations.
  • Produce high‑craft reports, whitepapers, eBooks, case studies, and one‑pagers for print and digital, plus event and booth collateral.
  • Translate abstract product concepts — agents, workflows, integrations — into visuals an enterprise CHRO or CIO understands immediately, without glowing‑brain AI clichés.
Motion and video
  • Hands‑on: short‑form motion in After Effects — product feature animations, explainers, social cutdowns, UI motion, kinetic type, GIFs. Editing webinars, customer interviews, and event recaps in Premiere Pro, including pacing, captions, color, and audio cleanup.
  • Directorial: art‑direct our motion designers upstream of the animation — storyboards, frame design, review — so what they ship looks gorgeous, not merely finished.
  • Maintain reusable intros, outros, lower thirds, and title systems so every video looks like it came from the same company.
Craft, systems, and speed
  • Be the go‑to reviewer when the Principal Designer is heads‑down — clear, useful, unsentimental feedback. Help other designers get to what they were trying to make rather than taking the work off them.
  • Build template and component libraries in Figma and After Effects so recurring work gets faster and stays consistent.
  • Bring judgment about what deserves a bespoke design, what should be templated, and what shouldn’t be made at all.
How We Work With AI

Leena AI is an AI‑first company, and that applies to how we make things, not just what we sell. We use AI research, rethink and re‑strategize, and to compress everything repeatable — resizing and ad variants, background cleanup, rotoscoping, transcription and captioning, first‑pass storyboards, asset versioning — so human hours go into concept, taste, and craft. The parts only a person can do.

We expect you to be fluent here and to keep getting more fluent. Designers who use these tools well ship several times more work at a higher standard. Designers who avoid them will struggle here — and so will designers who let AI output ship when it only looks finished. We want both: the speed and the judgment to know when it isn’t good enough.

What We’re Looking ForNon-negotiable
  • Deep, fluent Figma. Not “I can use Figma.” Components, variants, auto‑layout, design systems, and libraries other people can build on. This is where the team lives; there’s no version of this role where you’re slow in it.
  • Exceptional, current taste. Well‑composed, well‑typeset, restrained, and unmistakably of this moment. Our highest‑weighted criterion, judged from your portfolio and not your résumé.
Must-haves
  • 4–6 years of professional design experience, with meaningful time in‑house or at an agency serving B2B or technology clients.
  • Real paid‑social and digital ad experience. You’ve designed ads that ran, at volume, and you understand how creative behaves in a feed.
  • Advanced Adobe Creative Suite — Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.
  • Working proficiency in After Effects — you can independently take a concept from storyboard to a finished 30–90 second piece with confident timing and easing.
  • Working proficiency in Premiere Pro — 60 minutes of raw webinar footage into a tight, captioned, well‑paced edit without help.
  • Web design capability — you’ve designed responsive pages, not just static comps.
  • Presentation design as a genuine skill — you can take a dense, unstructured narrative and make it land visually.
  • Active AI fluency — generative and AI‑assisted tools are already part of how you work, and you can tell shippable output from output that merely looks finished.
  • The temperament to give and take feedback well. You’ll review peers’ work without authority over them, which takes more tact than managing does.
  • Speed with judgment — several projects at once, a clear sense of a two‑hour job versus a two‑day job, dates hit without negotiating away quality.
  • Clear communication in American English — you take written direction well and defend a design decision with a reason, not a preference.
Nice to have
  • Experience marketing to enterprise HR, IT, finance, or procurement buyers.
  • Illustration or 3D chops (Blender, Spline, Rive). Comfort in Webflow or a similar CMS. Sound design instincts for video.
Not screened for

We don’t require a specific degree. Design, animation, and fine arts backgrounds are welcome, and so is a self‑taught one. Your portfolio decides this.

Your portfolio
Required

Required — applications without one won’t be reviewed. Send a link (website, PDF, Behance, or Dribbble; include a password if gated). Make it easy for us to say yes by including:

  • Paid social or digital ad work, ideally a set of variants, so we can see how you hold quality across volume.
  • One full presentation or long‑form document you designed end to end — not just the cover slide.
  • Two motion pieces you animated yourself in After Effects, and one video you edited.
  • One piece of web or brand work shown across multiple surfaces.
  • A sentence or two per project: what the brief was, what you decided, and why.
How We’ll Evaluate
  • Portfolio screen — we review your work before any call.
  • Craft conversation with the hiring manager — 45 minutes through two or three projects in depth.
  • Design exercise — a real, scoped brief covering both static and motion, roughly a week to complete.
  • Exercise review with the Principal Designer and marketing team — 60 minutes presenting and pressure‑testing your thinking.
  • Leadership conversation and offer.

We aim to close in two to three weeks and to give you a clear answer either way.

Details
  • Location: Gurugram, India — 5 days in‑office with the marketing and design team.
  • Hours: Full‑time, with some overlap with US time zones given our customer and leadership base.
  • Compensation: Competitive and benchmarked to senior design talent in the market; we’ll discuss range on the first call.

Leena AI is an equal opportunity employer. We evaluate applicants on craft and capability, and we welcome candidates from every background.
