Job summary

Deccan AI in Hyderabad, India, is seeking a Senior Visual Designer to own our visual identity across web, decks, event collateral and social channels. This is not a product designer role, but a chance to shape a dense, technical brand for researchers, engineers, and enterprise leaders.

You will turn complex AI concepts into clear visuals, develop one-pagers and case studies, collaborate with product marketing and events, and lead launch videos from storyboard to final cut.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in visual, brand, or graphic design.
• Experience converting dense technical content into visuals.
• Own launch or brand videos from storyboard through final edit.
• Proficient in Figma, Illustrator, and Google Slides; hand off editable files.
• Able to work with product marketers and marketing teams.

Deccan AI is a Bay Area-based data infrastructure company. We help frontier labs and enterprises with model training, fine-tuning, and reliable AI deployment.

We've raised a $25M Series A, and our customers include Google DeepMind, Microsoft AI, Snowflake, and several of the world's leading frontier labs and enterprises.

The role:

We're looking for a Senior Visual Designer to own Deccan AI's visual identity across web, pitch/sales decks, event collaterals, social media and more.

This isn't a product design role.

Our work is technically dense (ICP includes researchers, applied AI engineers and enterprise business transformation leaders). We’re looking for someone who enjoys turning technically complex ideas into visuals that can engage and convert.

Responsibilities

• Own Deccan AI's visual identity across web, social media, and pitch decks
• Turn technical concepts into context-rich, easy-to-grasp illustrations
• Shape rough positioning and product content into polished one-pagers and case studies
• Work in tandem with product and event marketing teams to design campaigns and collaterals.
• Own launch/brand videos from start to finish: storyboard, animations, editing, and the final cut
• Work within and expand our design system and brand identity
• Move fast across Figma, Illustrator, PowerPoint, or code-based tools
• Brief and manage 1–2 freelancers who provide extra hands on smaller campaigns
• Deliver files and set up processes that let marketers edit on the go
• Own Deccan AI's visual identity across web, social media, and pitch decks.

You should apply if

• You have 3–5 years of experience in visual, brand, or graphic design.
• You've closely worked with product marketers or extended marketing teams, converting dense technical content pieces into easy to grasp visual architectures.
• You hold strong opinions about your designs, yet can take feedback, and come up with new options if necessary that are in-line with the requirements.
• You've owned launch or brand videos before, from storyboard through to a finished edit.
• You can prioritize ruthlessly and switch between tasks fast without losing quality. You'll be moving between web, decks, campaigns, and video at any given point.
• You've run or contributed to a branding exercise before, helping finalize an illustration style, a visual language, or a design system.
• You're proficient in Figma, Illustrator, and Google Slides, and you can hand off files in a form that’s editable for dependent functions.
• You treat AI as a daily collaborator. It's already part of how you brainstorm, wireframe and polish.

You'll be a great fit if you

• Obsess over details.
• Have worked closely with product marketing, event marketing and sales enablement teams before. Brownie points if you’ve worked with leading AI/SaaS companies.
• Have owned information design end to end (1-pagers, pitch decks, social posts, email, etc.) and have a portfolio that clearly shows how you decided which piece of content or visual fits where.
• Have designed web/landing pages before and understand how visual hierarchy affects CRO.
