Job summary

DottSocial LLP is seeking a Senior Video Editor to set the craft bar across brand films, ads, and AI-generated work. You will own complex edits, mentor juniors, and lead our AI-driven creative workflows, including Runway, Sora, Veo, Kling, and related tools.

You’ll collaborate with the team to ensure brand-safe, high-quality outputs, manage multi-client pipelines on Zoho Projects, and, if capable, lead shoots on location. A path to Video Lead within 18–24 months is envisioned.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years editing for social media, advertising, or brand content.
• Proficient with Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
• Hands-on with multiple AI tools for video generation and avatars.
• Strong pacing, sound design, and platform-native edits.
• Able to juggle multiple active clients without errors.
• Mentorship mindset to review and elevate junior work.

Responsibilities

• Lead edits on brand films, ads, event content, podcasts, and AI-generated content.
• Set motion graphics, sound design, and pacing standards across the team.
• Build AI-driven creative workflows. Translate briefs into prompts, refine outputs into brand-safe deliverables.
• Review and QC work from junior editors before client delivery.
• Own multi-client project pipelines on Zoho Projects.
• Lead product, lifestyle, and event shoots in-house and on location (if shooting-capable).

Role Summary

We're hiring a Senior Video Editor to set the craft bar across the studio, brand films, ads, event content, and AI-generated work. You'll own complex edits, mentor junior editors, and lead our integration of tools like Runway, Sora, Veo, and Kling into daily client work. This is a path to Video Lead in 18 to 24 months.

What You'll Do

• Lead edits on brand films, ads, event coverage, podcasts, and AI-generated content
• Set motion graphics, sound design, and pacing standards across the team
• Build AI-driven creative workflows. Translate briefs into prompts, refine outputs into brand-safe deliverables
• Review and QC work from junior editors before client delivery
• Own multi-client project pipelines on Zoho Projects
• (If shooting capable) Lead product, lifestyle, and event shoots in-house and on location

Must Have

• 2 to 4 years editing for social media, advertising, or brand content
• Fluent in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop
• Hands-on shipping experience with at least 3 AI tools across video generation (Runway, Sora, Veo, Kling, Pika), avatars (HeyGen, Synthesia), audio (Descript, ElevenLabs), or repurposing (OpusClip, Vizard)
• Strong instinct for pacing, sound design, and platform native edits
• Comfort juggling multiple active clients without dropping balls
• Mentorship mindset. Can review and elevate junior work

Nice to Have

• DaVinci Resolve, Illustrator, Audition, Figma, Frame.io
• Shooting skills (DSLR/mirrorless, lighting, audio)
• Hindi/Gujarati alongside English
• Meta Ads creative format familiarity
• Real estate, lifestyle, F&B, or event vertical experience
