Job summary

NAB India is seeking a Senior Vice President - Product Owner to lead AML/KYC CDD product strategy in a fast-paced banking environment in Gurugram. You will capture requirements, convert them into epics and user stories, and guide cross-functional teams through rapid iterations.

You will partner with stakeholders to align features with business value, manage complex interdependencies, and drive the roadmap and sprint execution to deliver critical compliance and customer experience improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in global banking environments.
• Strong AML/KYC CDD domain experience and ability to translate requirements into backlog items.
• Experience with FinTech or banking domain tools such as FenX (Fenergo) and PEGA.
• Proven track record in agile delivery and leading cross-functional squads.

YOUR NEW ROLE:

• Represent the business when capturing and grooming requirements, ensuring outcomes are aligned to both short term and strategic goals.
• Maximize the Value being delivered by ensuring all features are aligned to business value.
• Supports Developers, Analysts and Quality Engineers in understanding the product needs, so they can deliver on their commitments.
• Manage complex environments with high number of features and interdependencies.
• Responsible for capturing and grooming requirements into epics, features, user stories and dependencies in collaboration with the squads that aligns with business requirements across multiple complex environments.
• Make day to day decisions to enable development team to move quickly through product iterations.
• Ensure the Delivery and Development teams understand the value of each user story that is being delivered at the right time.
• Involved in the roadmap planning, release planning, execution, review of each sprint, realising impact, value and focus on the right priorities
• Work collaboratively with Scrum Master and the squad to deliver backlog

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• Strong AML/KYC Customer Due Diligence(CDD) Product and Domain Experience
• Minimum 15+ years experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in global banking/GCC environment
• Good Functional Knowledge of FenX (Fenergo) , PEGA and other CDD domain applications
• Creativity and simplifying complex processes and issues, problem solving and process analysis
• Extensive experience working in an agile environment.
• Ability to communicate a product vision to key stakeholders and teams, developing it into a shaped backlog of key features, user stories and goals for individual sprints.
• Comfortable playing a leadership role, including leading workshops, in a co-located cross functional business and IT team through the discovery, development and operational usage stages of product development.
• Ability to innovate, adapt and grasp new skills and content.
