Sr. UI/UX Designer | Interactive Web (4-8 Years)
We are hiring a senior UI/UX designer who lives and breathes interactive web design. You will lead projects end to end, run a small design team, and be the primary face to international clients. Your craft must meet global standards for accessibility, performance, and interaction quality. This is not an app designer role.
Responsibilities
- Own web projects from discovery to launch and iteration.
- Lead client workshops, define goals, KPIs, IA, flows, and content structure.
- Design responsive websites with exceptional interaction design, micro‑interactions, and motion.
- Create wireframes, visual systems, and high‑fidelity prototypes in Figma.
- Build interactive prototypes that demonstrate states, transitions, and logic.
- Define and maintain component libraries and design systems.
- Write clear specs for developers and ensure a clean handoff.
- Partner with Webflow and front‑end teams, review builds, and run design QA.
- Champion accessibility and performance (WCAG 2.2 AA, Lighthouse 90+ for LCP, CLS, INP).
- Use analytics and user feedback to drive iterative improvements.
- Manage the design team: plan sprints, review work, mentor, and hire.
- Present work to clients in fluent English and handle feedback with clarity.
- Keep project schedules and budgets on track in ClickUp.
Requirements
- 4 to 8 years in UI/UX with a focus on websites and interactions.
- Strong web portfolio with 5 to 8 best projects, each showing problem, process, and measurable outcomes.
- Expert in Figma: components, variants, auto‑layout, token thinking.
- Interaction and motion design capability: express intent with timelines and prototypes.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive behavior for design feasibility.
- Awareness of accessibility, performance, and SEO in design decisions.
- Fluent spoken and written English for international client calls.
- Ability to run a room: clear storytelling, structured demos, decisive recommendations.
- Team leadership: mentoring, reviews, conflict resolution.
- Nice to have: Webflow production experience.
- Nice to have: GSAP, Lottie, and SVG animation literacy.
- Nice to have: Basic front‑end QA skills (DevTools, network, Lighthouse checks).
- Nice to have: Experience with Shopify, headless CMS, or component‑driven frameworks.
