Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in Karnataka seeks a Senior UI Engineer to craft intelligent, scalable user interfaces for the mIO platform, a cloud-native telecom orchestration system. Role Summary

Senior UI Engineer to build intelligent, scalable, and intuitive user interfaces for mIO, a cloud native telecom infrastructure orchestration platform.

The role requires strong frontend engineering expertise, along with hands on experience in Kubernetes based platforms and AI assisted UI experiences, such as guided workflows, copilots, and intelligent recommendations

Key Responsibilities

Core Focus Areas

AI‑Driven UI Experiences

• Design and implement AI‑assisted and guided user experiences (e.g., copilots, form assistants, smart defaults, recommendations)
• Integrate frontend with AI/ML-backed services (LLMs, rule engines, or recommendation APIs)
• Build UIs that support intent-based workflows, decision assistance, and automation
• Handle AI-related UX concerns: explainability, confidence indicators, error handling, and fallbacks

Kubernetes & Cloud‑Native Platform Awareness

• Build UI features that visualize and manage Kubernetes / OpenShift resources

Clusters, namespaces, workloads, pods, jobs, Helm releases, ArgoCD apps

• Design dashboards for deployment status, health, logs, and lifecycle operations
• Work closely with backend and platform teams to represent complex infra concepts in a simple UI
• Understand multi-cluster, multi-tenant environments and reflect them correctly in the UI

Job Requirements

UI Development & Architecture

• Design and develop responsive, reusable, enterprise-scale UI components
• Own frontend architecture for dashboards, workflows, and operational views
• Translate UX designs and product requirements into high-quality, production-ready code
• Optimize UI performance for large datasets, real-time updates, and AI-driven flows

Platform Integration

• Integrate UI with REST APIs / GraphQL and event-driven backend systems
• Implement authentication, authorization, RBAC, and tenant-aware UI behavior
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployment models

UX, Quality & Ownership

• Collaborate closely with UX designers to deliver clean, minimal, and intuitive user experiences
• Ensure accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and responsiveness
• Write unit tests and component tests; maintain high UI quality standards
• Review code and mentor junior developers

Mandatory Skills

Frontend Engineering

• Strong experience in Angular (preferred) or React
• Expert in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3
• Solid knowledge of state management (NgRx / Redux / similar)
• Strong understanding of component-based and modular UI architecture

Cloud‑Native & Kubernetes UI

• Hands-on experience building UIs for Kubernetes / OpenShift–based platforms
• Ability to work with infra-centric data: job status, logs, metrics, artifacts, deployments

AI Integration

• Experience integrating UI with AI/ML or LLM-powered backends
• Understanding of AI UX patterns (assistants, suggestions, step-by-step guidance)

Good to Have

Experience with telecom platforms or large-scale enterprise systems

• Familiarity with micro-frontend architecture
• Experience with observability tools (logs, metrics, alerts)
• Exposure to AI governance, prompt tuning, or AI UX best practices
