Job summary

Jobtailor in Bengaluru seeks an expert Integration Tester to own design and execution of test cases for end-to-end A2A and B2B scenarios. You will validate REST/SOAP APIs, message flows, and payload transformations (XML/JSON), and perform functional, regression, and negative testing across DEV, QA, PROD.

You'll collaborate with developers and stakeholders, maintain comprehensive test documentation, and support SIT/UAT cycles to ensure data consistency and successful releases.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of testing experience with focus on enterprise integration and middleware.
• Hands-on API validation for REST and SOAP services.
• Experience with SAP PI/PO or SAP BTP Integration Suite preferred.
• Experience with XML/JSON payloads and data mapping.
• Proficient in test design, execution, and defect tracking.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies.

Job description

• Take ownership of designing and executing test cases for end-to-end integration scenarios (A2A & B2B)
• Validate API integrations (REST/SOAP), message flows, and payload transformations (XML/JSON)
• Perform functional, regression, and negative testing for integration interfaces
• Ensure data consistency and mapping accuracy across systems
• Test framework-driven integrations and configurable platform components
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to identify defects, analyze root causes, and validate fixes
• Maintain comprehensive test documentation, execution reports, and defect logs
• Support SIT/UAT cycles and release validation activities
• Validate integrations across environments (DEV, QA, PROD)

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of testing experience, including 5-6 years in enterprise integration/middleware testing
• Strong exposure to integration testing and API validation
• Experience with SAP PI/PO or SAP BTP Integration Suite (preferred)
• Strong understanding of REST and SOAP APIs
• JSON and XML payload structures
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SOAP UI)
• Experience in test case design, execution, and defect tracking
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
