Job summary

Ralph Lauren Corporation seeks a Sr. Engineer, SAP BTP-Integration Suite to design, develop, and maintain integration solutions on SAP BTP. You will liaise with stakeholders, lead end-to-end integration projects, and migrate legacy interfaces to the SAP Cloud Integration platform.

The role requires 8+ years in integration, deep SAP BTP experience, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams. On-site position in Bengaluru, India with global impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Integration design and development.
• Full life-cycle SAP S/4 Greenfield Implementation experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite including Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management, Integration Advisor, and Open Connectors.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with internal stakeholders in different region and external vendors on delivering EAI / Integration solution.
• Involve in software development lifecycle from requirement analysis, technical design, implementation, documentation, and deployment.
• Define end to end integration strategies for connecting S/4HANA with cloud and third party systems such as Ariba, SuccessFactors, Concur, and on premise applications.
• Develop high quality integration flows (iFlows) using SAP Cloud Integration (CI), incorporating advanced Groovy scripting, XSLT mapping, and reusable design patterns.
• Implement and configure standard SAP Integration Suite content for SAP cloud solutions to accelerate delivery and ensure compliance with SAP BTP IS best practices.
• Lead migration of legacy interfaces from SAP PI/PO and SAP CPI to SAP BTP Cloud Integration.
• Configure and manage SAP Cloud Connector to establish secure connectivity between on premise systems and SAP BTP services.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise security, authentication, and authorization standards across all integration touchpoints.
• Optimize integration performance through proactive tuning, troubleshooting, and incident resolution across development, QA, and production environments.
• Monitor message processing, error handling, and system health using SAP BTP monitoring tools and integration lifecycle management practices.
• Collaborating with functional teams, BASIS, and business stakeholders to deliver seamless integration outcomes.
• Review technical designs, enforce best practices, and mentor junior team members to uphold engineering excellence.
• Conduct Unit, System, and Integration Testing throughout the project lifecycle and document results with high-quality technical artifacts and operational guides.

Professional Skills

• 8+ years of proven hands-on experience in Integration design and development
• 3+ years of SAP Cloud Integration
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven full life-cycle SAP S/4 Greenfield Implementation experience
• Strong hands-on experience Design & Development in SAP BTP Integration Suite including Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management, Integration Advisor, and Open Connectors
• Expertise in handling end-to-end integrations across platforms like AEM, API Management, SBPM, and Event Mesh.
• Expertise in enabling and handling E2E integration from SAP to Non-SAP applications leveraging EDI and TPM.
• Knowledge of AI enablement within integration processes and leveraging intelligent automation tools.
• Experience in authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, SAML, JWT, etc.) for secure integration.
• Excellent experience in writing Technical Specs, performing Tech spec, Code reviews and troubleshooting
• Experience with SAP Application Interface Framework (AIF) for monitoring and error handling.
• Techo-functional experience with SAP S/4 HANA: this includes troubleshooting/debugging
• Strong understanding and good exposure of different Integration Standards and Protocols (XML, JSON, REST, SOAP, IDocs, etc.)
• Strong hands-on on various SAP CPI Testing tools like PostMan and should have basic understanding of CI/CD on BTP
• Expertise in Groovy Scripting, Mappings, Connectivity Setups, Adapter configurations and Integration Patterns
• Hands-on experience in leveraging SAP CALM for change management.
• Strong communication skills to be able to collaborate with cross functional teams and SI partners
• Proven experience in implementation architecture patterns, including microservices, event-driven, and serverless integration patterns.
