Job summary

Arivuu Ai Labs is seeking a Quality Engineer focused on Non-Motor Insurance to ensure robust QA across the full SDLC. The role requires 4-8 years of experience with insurance apps and strong testing expertise, including API validation and SQL/data checks.

You will collaborate with distributed teams, perform regression and release validation, and support governance and continuous improvement of testing practices in an Agile setup.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of QA/Quality Engineering experience with a focus on insurance applications.
• Must have 2-3 years in Commercial/Non-Motor Insurance testing.
• Experience with SDLC quality practices, Shift-Left/Right, and release governance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure end-to-end QA across Non-Motor Insurance applications throughout the SDLC.
• Perform regression testing and release validation for app releases.
• Execute API tests using Postman/Swagger and validate data with SQL.
• Manage defects via Azure DevOps/JIRA and support Agile/Scrum delivery.

Job Description

We are looking for a Quality Engineer with strong experience in Quality Engineering / Software Testing and a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Insurance applications, preferably in Commercial / Non-Motor Insurance.

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring end-to-end quality assurance across Non-Motor Insurance applications by embedding quality practices throughout the SDLC. The role will involve Shift-Left and Shift-Right testing, release quality certification, stakeholder governance, and production quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure end-to-end quality assurance across Non-Motor Insurance applications throughout the SDLC.
• Perform end-to-end business process validation across Insurance workflows.
• Execute regression testing and release validation for application releases.
• Perform API testing using Postman / Swagger.
• Perform SQL and database/data validation.
• Manage defects and testing activities using Azure DevOps / JIRA.
• Work within Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Support Shift-Left and Shift-Right testing practices.
• Ensure appropriate test coverage and compliance with defined quality gates.
• Identify and communicate defects early in the development lifecycle.
• Support ST / SIT / UAT and release certification activities.
• Drive reduction in production defect leakage and improvement of Production Quality KPIs.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and ensure business stakeholder satisfaction.
• Participate in stakeholder governance and quality reviews.
• Work effectively with distributed delivery teams and vendor teams.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across testing and quality processes.
• Understand and contribute to CI/CD and Continuous Testing practices.
• Exposure to test automation frameworks will be an advantage.
