Job summary

QualiZeal is seeking an Automation QE - Cypress to drive test automation, quality engineering practices, and automation strategy across product teams.

The role requires 6+ years of hands-on Cypress experience, strong CI/CD integration skills, and leadership in designing scalable automation frameworks within an Agile environment. You will collaborate with developers, product owners, and platform teams to raise quality gates and reduce flaky tests.

Qualifications

• At least 6+ years in QA/Automation with hands-on Cypress experience.
• Hands-on Cypress expertise is required.
• Experience designing scalable automation frameworks and leading QE initiatives.

• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
• Develop and maintain stubs and mocks for reliable test execution.
• Drive functional, regression, smoke, component, API, and E2E testing.
• Identify and resolve flaky and redundant tests to improve automation quality.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and platform teams in an Agile environment.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Cypress automation.
• Experience with CI/CD integration and automated quality gates.
• Strong understanding of test stubbing/mocking and API testing.
• Experience with Jest, Storybook, and Xray.
• Experience in automation framework design and QE leadership.
• Good understanding of risk-based and shift-left testing practices.
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
