Job summary

Sunovaa Tech in Bengaluru, India seeks a hands-on QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable UI automation frameworks using Cypress with TypeScript/JavaScript. You will build reusable components, implement API automation, and integrate with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.

You will collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, DevOps, and QA teams in an Agile environment; you will drive test planning, execute tests, and contribute to quality

Qualifications

• 46 years of experience in QA Automation / SDET roles.
• Hands-on experience with Cypress and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Automation framework development experience (preferably using POM).
• Hands-on with Playwright and/or Selenium.
• Strong understanding of API Testing / API Automation (Postman, REST Assured).
• Practical experience integrating automation into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Good programming and scripting skills in TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience with Git/GitHub and CI/CD practices.
• Understanding of BDD/Cucumber, Mocha/TestNG preferred.
• Experience with SQL/database validation is a plus.
• Exposure to Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS/Azure, JMeter or k6 is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, defect lifecycle, and test automation best practices.
• Should be able to independently design, develop, debug, and enhance automation frameworks.
