Job summary

Mavenir is seeking a Software Test Engineer to participate in the evolution and execution of procedures ensuring quality of new features and releases. The role involves developing test plans, automating tests, and documenting results to support debugging and quality assurance.

You will work with development teams to design, execute functional, regression, and integration tests, analyze results, and report defects with root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in test planning, design, execution and defect management.
• Hands-on experience with industry test tools (SPIRENT, TREX, Iperf).
• Knowledge of TCP/MDP/ICMP/BGP/BFD protocols and routing concepts.

Responsibilities

Role Summary

Responsible for participating in the evolution and execution of procedures for ensuring the quality of new features and releases of software products. Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans, automated scripts and programs for testing. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. Provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software.
