Job summary
Coforge Limited invites an experienced Automation QA Lead to strengthen our airline-checkin domain. You will design and implement scalable automation frameworks for web, API, and integration tests, focusing on TPF and Java platforms.
You will guide the QA team, improve test coverage, and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-quality releases for mission-critical airline systems. Strong leadership and hands-on testing expertise are essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
- 3+ years of experience leading Automation QA teams.
- Strong experience testing enterprise-scale Java applications.
- Experience working with TPF/zTPF-based applications or other high-volume transaction processing systems.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC).
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps delivery environments.
- Proven experience in test planning, defect management, and release quality assurance.

We are seeking an experienced Automation QA Lead to drive quality engineering and test automation initiatives for mission-critical Airline Check-In and Departure Control applications developed using TPF and Java technologies. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in test automation, API testing, integration testing, and quality assurance processes within large-scale enterprise applications.
The role requires hands-on leadership in designing automation frameworks, improving test coverage, integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring high-quality releases for customer-facing airline systems.
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable automation frameworks for web, API, integration, and regression testing.
- Define automation strategies and best practices across projects and teams.
- Increase automation coverage and reduce manual testing efforts through continuous improvement initiatives.
