Qualifications

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive automation specialist with 6-10 years of experience in software testing, including strong hands-on expertise in RestAssured-based API automation, along with leadership in test strategy, automation, and quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our software products through advanced automation and testing techniques, mentoring junior testers, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Define and implement test strategies, plans, and processes for complex software systems.Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and scripts using RestAssuredCollaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and methodologies.Analyze test results, identify root causes, and provide actionable insights.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements where applicable.

SKILLS

Must have

• 6-10 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation script development using RestAssuredStrong knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java preferred).Experience with API testing tools (preferably: REST Assured), Postman, ReadyAPI, etc.,Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, and Azure DevOps.Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.Strong knowledge in Selenium (Java)

Nice to have

ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent certification.Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Airline Domain knowledge is a plus
